Interview with the Vampire is a gothic horror and vampire novel written by American author Anne Rice and published in 1976.

Anne Rice is famous for her novels about vampires and other supernatural creatures. “Interview with the Vampire” was her debut novel and the first of Rice’s best-selling Vampire Chronicle, which have had both great mainstream and cult followings.

Our protagonist and narrator, Louis de Pointe du Lac, is a vampire who has met with a young human to give him an interview and tell him about his life before and after becoming an undead. He talks about his life in New Orleans, about Lestat, the vampire who turned him into a vampire and how they lived together for a while with the vampire girl Claudia, about how he travels to Europe in search of answers and how his life changes tragically in Paris.

But what is the end of the story? Does it HAVE the end?
