The end of the Winter Break Challenge

Summations, reflection and some of the future plans

Phew, I really did it — posted stories about my participating in the Winter Break Challenge every day! I think it’s a great success in conditions of my chilling in these holidays, because at first all what I wanted to to is to do nothing, but this challenge helped to keep me afloat.

What is the result?

Firstly is a fact that I was spending the time on English 1–1,5 hour on the average. I was trying to articulate my thoughs, plans and expirience on this language and I really enjoyed it!

And in addition almost every day I was seeking to study more and more, better and any longer.

Even if initially I had to get over myself, now that is not so and I think about to do it in a regular basis 🤔.

Some plans on the second semester and generally

If I think and write about something vague or obscure, I won’t be able to monitor my progress and achievments, so it should be only concrete things at this time.

I will try…

  • To write 2 posts in a week in this blog at least (not a homework). It will be a new challenge for myself!
  • To find the time on the reading of minimum 10 pages of any novel in the English every day.
  • To spend 20 minutes (more is better, of course) on not well-established themes in grammar.
  • To phase out russian subtitles at all (at this moment I have sometimes), to watch tv-series with english sub. and then without then and to enjoy a story in its original form.

If during this semester I do it successfully, new plans will appear and maybe I will write it in a separate post 😸.

(A picture for self-motivation)

This strategy should work, I’m sure:-)

I believe that I can do it and I will!
